Watch animals come to drink from the deck of your tent and enjoy a steaming hot shower in your private atrium-like bathroom under the trees. Sleep warm and safe in comfortable beds with feel-good linen, and spend your days in the Kruger Bush with expert guiding and exciting animal sightings.

nDzuti Bush Camp offers you an authentic and affordable safari experience and the chance of possibly sighting the BIG FIVE, as well as many other species of the Balule – Greater Kruger Park.

The Bush Camp offers a base from where we set off into the African Bushveld experience, bearing witness to the creatures of the wild and their daily dramas that unfold in nature. Our experienced team of staff and guides will ensure you have an enjoyable time here in the Greater Kruger National Park.

nDzuti Bush Camp is located in the Balule Game Reserve with no boundaries between our concession and the rest of the Klaserie, Timbavati and the Greater Kruger Park’s vast block of wilderness.

It was wonderful to experience the African bush with such knowledgeable and passionate people. All the staff from the guides to the chef were so welcoming and friendly. The tented accommodation is comfortable while still feeling a little wild. I loved the open-air bathrooms and being able to hear the animals from your tent at night. If you’re looking for a down-to-earth authentic bush experience then you’ve come to the right place.

Had the most fantastic experience at nDzuti safari camp last week. Bruce and Judy couldn't have been more welcoming, even the herd of elephants arrived at the waterhole near our tent to say hello when we arrived. Troy, their son, was an amazing guide and found the elusive leopard and rhinos for us, as well as ellies, lions, hippo, giraffe, buffalo and many other animals! The food was outstanding and the sundowners at the end of a game drive went down a treat! We loved the rustic feel of the unfenced camp and the outdoor showers made it all feel very authentic and wild. We'll definitely be back soon.

I stayed 4 days at Ndzuti camp and had a wonderful time. Everything was taken very well care of; the tent was luxurious, the food was delicious and the location near the waterhole was great to see all kinds of animals. The early morning and afternoon drives were great but I especially liked the two bush walk we did. It is amazing to hear, smell and see all the details and learn about the plants, tracks and animal behavior.

I cannot recommend nDzuti Bush Camp enough! We had one of the best experiences ever on safari with them. It was really the highlight of our trip in South Africa. From our incredible guide and to the staff, to our incredible game drives and cosy tent, it was an unforgettable experience that I’m still dreaming about. Our incredible guide, Sabre was so knowledgeable, we learnt so much from her. She would follow tracks of animal’s footprints on the ground to try our luck in finding the Big 5 and was so friendly and welcoming along with all the staff and the owners of the camp. We were lucky enough to see 4 of the big 5 along with many more animals. Being up so close to such beautiful wild animals in their natural habitat will be an experience we will always treasure.

Areas We Explore

How to get here…

We are part of the Greater Kruger Park and the Associated Private Nature Reserves on the western side of The National Park. Our gate to Balule Nature Reserve is between Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa on the R40.

Our local airport in Hoedspruit is called Eastgate and it has a couple of flights a day out of both Johannesburg and Cape Town. All flights into Eastgate arrive and leave between 11:30 and 14:30 to allow visitors to get to their respective lodges before the afternoon game drive, and to still allow for time for a morning drive on departure day.

We are slightly over an hour from the airport, and we can either fetch you ourselves or arrange for a transfer company to do so.

There is also a shared road shuttle from Johannesburg to this area every day which leaves OR Tambo airport 7 :30 am and we will meet you at the drop off point and transfer you the remaining distance to the bush camp. The road transfer takes 5-6 hours. There is always the option of renting a car and taking a drive to the camp, perhaps stopping of a night along the way and getting in some sightseeing along the Panorama Route.

The other Kruger airport- Kruger Mpumalanga international is a 3-hour drive from us. There is a transfer company doing daily transfers from there.
